Eat Good, Think Good, Feel Good

Your body is your temple. Keep it pure and clean for the soul to reside in.

It must be exhausting to accomplish day to day errands while at the same time you have tp keep up with your health. Every time we feel stressed, there is a tendency for us to eat foods especially those with high glucose content. This is our body’s way to compensate on the energy we had spent when we were exhausted.


In our fast-paced world, our stress hormone a.k.a. “cortisol” continuously rises. Cortisol triggers our cravings for salty, sweet and high – fat foods. This leads to emotional eating. See how the food we eat affects our body and mind? This is why we have to be mindful about the foods we are going to eat.

A moment in your lips, a lifetime in your hips.

It is never too late to change our dirty eating habits. All we have to do is change our way of thinking and stick to our goal and plan no matter what. And by that, i really meant NO MATTER WHAT. Here are some of my personal tips based on my personal experiences.

  1. Edit your grocery list. Consider the “nutritional value table” placed behind the packaging of the item. Avoid impulse shopping. No heavy processed food. More on fruits.
  2. Eat when you are hungry NOT when you are bored.
  3. Take small bites. Take time to chew your food. In this way, you give time to your stomach to be full without having to eat more than what you are supposed to. This helps to improve your digestion as well.
  4. Have small frequent meals.
  5. Drink water everyday!
