Quick & Easy Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Enjoy this red velvet cupcake with your love ones this Valentine’s day! It’s super quick and easy to make perfect for last minute gift ideas for your s.o. πŸ™‚

Ingredients:

  1. 150 ml of water
  2. 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
  3. 1 egg
  4. Vanilla syrup
  5. 12 paper baking cups
  6. muffin pan
  7. cake batter
  8. cake decorations (optional)dsc_1716

Frosting:

  1. 250 g of Cream Cheese
  2. Confectioner’s sugar

How To Do It?

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Place paper baking cups in regular sized muffin baking pan.
  3. Beat the cake batter, oil, egg and water until well blended.
  4. Add 3 drops of vanilla syrup.
  5. *Add food coloring if desired.
  6. Divide batter evenly in baking pan. Make it 1/2 full on each paper baking cup.
  7. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes clean.
  8. Allow cool before frosting. ( I did not wait for it to cool so some of my cupcakes are messed up 😦 )dsc_1753
  9. Mix the cream cheese and confectioner’s sugar for frosting.
